This year turned out to be another great one despites threats from Mother Nature! We started off Wednesday night with both the Budweiser VIP Party and our Dwyer & Michaels 97X VIP Party. Thursday got a little delayed because of the downpour that decided to hit us, but the show went on. Friday, another storm hit, this time destroying a few tents, one being Scooter's Outhouse, whose tent was flipped on top of a trailer. Again, we pushed through and the people came to party later in the night. Saturday was a beautiful day and the fairgrounds was packed! The American Wall of Death performed daily to packed houses and our Scooter Girl contests were a great success with our star judge Brett "Big Schwag" Wagner. The 2009 winner was Stephanie from Wide Open in Moline, IL. We had great entertainment throughout the weekend from all our terrific bands. Strip Club Choppers teamed up with Daisy Dooks and Biker Billy was Cooking With Fire! Ian Roussel built a golf cart turned hot rod racer with the help of The National Guard and Scott Community College. And of course, one of the greatest highlights of the weekends was the world famous Budweiser Clydsdales. With cold beer, great food, rides, sunshine (most the time), amazing entertainment, and good people the 2009 Sturgis Mississippi Motorcycle Rally was a memorable one!
